Spreader Rails
Our bed ends are crafted according to Child Safety Standards that all spreader rails allow the passage of 9” diameter sphere, which is the space needed to pull a child’s head through, or that they are close enough to prevent the passage of 3.5” x 6.2” block.
Stability and Construction
For added stability, we use 3” x 3” bed posts as our standard which allows greater surface-to-surface contact. University Loft bed posts are stable and strong. Our four spreader rail bed ends add stronger contraction for extra safety and strength.
Climbing to the Top
Our bed ends can double as ladders for you to use to climb to the top bunk. There are situations, however, where using a bed end won’t work. In those cases, Uloft offers bunk bed ladders that can also be used for our loft beds.
Our ladders feature warning labels providing information to effectively use the ladder. This includes exact pin positions for upper bunk springs and rails relative to the ladder placement. It is important to read and follow the label instructions to meet our safety standards and the validity of our warranty policy stays valid.
