The graduating class of 2020 is among the most unique that we have known. You went into the year like any other with the same expectations any senior would have. For a good part of it, you were able to enjoy your last year of college or high school. Suddenly, school life changed, and you had to finish your senior year under quarantine with virtual classes and social distancing. Without a choice or say in the matter, you were forced out of a normal senior year and into a path you had to blaze. It was a path no other class has had to face. It was different and more so, it was difficult, yet you did it, and you completed the course. University Loft congratulates the class of 2020 graduates! Well done!
Many of you didn’t have a graduation ceremony. Because of sheltering-in, you didn’t go to the graduation parties, the concerts, or the gathers that other classes got to enjoy. In your uniqueness, in your silence, in your distance, you graduated. But not unnoticed. We noticed you. We remembered you, and University Loft salutes you!
As you enter a new phase of life, do so with a greater value. You are going through a trial that no other class has. You will be an example to those who will graduate years after you because you ran the race faithfully until the end even under this pandemic. Once again University Loft congratulates the class of 2020 graduates. Go forth, put your hand to the plow, and make a positive impact in all that you do. You made it through this trial and are a better person for it.
