University Loft is known for our innovation in student residence and dorm room furnishings. We’re known for our superior student furniture materials and construction. And we’re known for our furniture’s strength and its ability to withstand the rigors of on campus living. What might not be so obvious from all these factors is how they combine to demonstrate our commitment to safety. Case in point: University Loft beds.
ULoft beds are made from Hevea Brasiliensis, a type of Environmentally Farmed Timber (EFT) shown by the independent Federal Testing Laboratories to be stronger than Northern Red Oak. Our bunk beds can even withstand four tons of pressure!
Our solid wood student beds are loaded with safety features, too. Like our patented bunk bed guard rails that slide with the bunking system, and bed ends designed to prevent a head from getting stuck! And while the bed ends can normally be used as a ladder to enable students to climb into top bunks, we also produce separate access ladders designed for safety when properly used.
These are just a few of the safety features that demonstrate how important safety is to University Loft Company. Our products are rigorously tested, and we even hold several patents protecting our student residence furniture design and safety innovations. Because the team at University Loft works so hard to keep the student learning and living environment safe, we hope you’ll rest a little easier knowing that your college students are sleeping – safe and sound — on University Loft beds.
