Residence Hall Furniture Designed to Make College Students Feel Right at Home

University Loft's Tool-less College Student Bunk Bed Assembly SystemOh, sure, they can Skype with you and be right back (virtually) at home, but for college students, having University Loft residence hall furniture in the dorm room makes them feel at home every day. You see, University Loft college furniture is designed to be a transformable foundation for personalizing their campus living quarters. Here’s what I mean:

From the very first loft bed configurations designed by James Jannetides in his dormitory at Southern Illinois University in the 1980s, space-saving personalization has been a cornerstone of the University Loft college furniture design philosophy. By lofting his bed, James created space for himself and his roommate in their residence hall dorm room. And when you create space, you create opportunity to express your personal style. And by having your space reflect your style, you feel, well, right at home.

Today, the way we help college students maximize space and create that homey feeling is with our University Loft modular dormitory furniture. Now, by modular I mean that it can be stacked and unstacked, lofted, bunked, arranged and rearranged to fit not only the limited space in the dorm room, but also the unlimited imaginations of the students IN the dorm room. Our patented “Tool-less” system is key to the virtually unlimited room configurations, because it makes it super easy to raise or lower your University Loft college student bed. With one or more beds off the ground, space opens up for whatever the student wants to have in the room to feel at home. (Yes, even if that open space becomes “home” to clutter!)

So don’t worry, parents. With University Loft college dormitory furniture in the residence hall, your student will feel a lot more at home and a lot less homesick. (Sorry if that means less frequent visits to see you.)

I have just about given up. Lofting one of your amazing beds must be the best kept secret at least west of the MIssissippi. I would love to get a loft kit for my daughter now for Christmas. She attends Portland State University and lives in the Broadway Housing Building. I know the furniture is from University Loft Company even though there is no serial number, model number or other description and it is very new I can tell. Does anyone out there have any idea how I can put my hands on what it takes to put her bed up in loft position. Obviously it has to be your kit or it isn’t allowed.
