University Loft student furniture goes through a carefully constructed process of farming, milling, engineering and manufacturing before it reaches you.
Farming
ULC uses Hevea Brasiliensis because it is environmentally friendly timber (EFT).
Strong Hevea brasiliensis trees are planted, and we harvest them upon maturity. Five of these trees grow and are harvested in the same time it takes one American Oak tree to mature for the mill. From its earliest years, University Loft has been green friendly, and we do what we can to help preserve our environment.
To the Mill
Once the trees are harvested, they are taken to the mill where they are cut into the lumber. Through the manufacturing process, they are turned into the fine University Loft Company college furniture that you are accustomed to purchasing.
Engineer
University Loft spends valuable time in product and development of our university furniture. Innovation is a driving force as we develop new and improved products at every turn. From the drafting desk to your door, we carefully construct each and every manufactured goods.
Manufacture
