University Loft Company uses Environmentally Farmed Timber (EFT) which comes from the Hevea Brasiliensis tree. This wood was proven stronger than the strong Northern Red Oak in independent testing. This is not glued together particle board, it is solid wood built to last through some of the toughest uses. We select the best for our military line.
Extra-Long
Who doesn’t love to have plenty of room to stretch-out while sleeping? The Lift Bed has an extra-long sleep surface with a mattress and the latest European slat cross members that bend when weight is put on it.
Two gas-filled cylinders lift the mattress and underlying frame top. Under the lift is where extra storage is found. Gear and other such items can be safely stored there. In addition, there are three full-extension drawers with dividers and heavy-duty drawer glides. Not only is the long solid wood panel supported by an iron frame and secure lid, but it also includes a four-way military grade locking handle and padlock eyelet. Stay organized and protected.
Bookshelf
You may not be ready to go right to sleep when you climb into the comfort zone of the Lift Bed, so Uloft has included a headboard with a bookshelf and task lighting. There are also electrical outlets. Fabric-covered tack board allows you to hang something special on it.
