The Beauty of Hevea Brasiliensis
The wood we use is from the Hevea Brasiliensis tree. It’s a powerful hardwood that puts up with the daily grind furniture goes through and continues to stand strong. The grain dances through the wood creating an eye-pleasing pattern. We selected this wood not only for its strength and beauty, but also for its contribution to our natural world. During their life span, Hevea Brasiliensis produce latex. Once they have come to the end of their latex production, the trees are hewn down and used for their hardwood. They grow more rapidly than Norther Red Oak, and they are stronger.
