5 Tips for Cleaning Your University Loft Furniture

I don’t think too many people woke up in early 2020 and thought that we would be living through a pandemic. Precautions and adjustments have had to be made to our typical lifestyles. I have friends who are now buying masks to match their outfits. Forget about lipstick. That’s not working out presently. You have probably heard more pandemic cliches than you care to so I will avoid them. Needless to say, we are much more conscientious about our cleaning and cleaning methods. So, I would like to offer you 5 tips for cleaning your University Loft furniture.

Bleach and Vinegar Are No-Nos

Bleach is a great germ killer, but you never want to use it on certain furniture pieces. Stay away from bleach. While you are staying away from it, stay away from vinegar or any harsh chemicals when it comes to your metal and steel furniture. Here’s why, when the chemicals mix with the metal and steel, they break down the powder coating which will then lead to rust.

Metal and Steel

Keeping your metal and steel furniture clean is relatively easy. Just add a few drops of mild liquid detergent in a bucket of warm water and wipe the surface with a clean towel. Use cold water and a clean cloth to rinse off the soap.

Take it Off

Because we use Velcro® Technology, our fabric can be easily removed. All you need to do is take off the feet from the furniture and remove the screws. The fabric will detach from the cushion simply and you can clean it.

Leave it On

If you do not want to remove the fabric, simply apply a little soap to a wet cloth and gently rub the stained place. Then with a clean damp towel, remove excess soap. Press a dry towel against the wet spot and pull out the extra water.

Dish Washing Liquid Does the Trick

You only need to use dish washing liquid with warm water and a microfiber cloth for your wood and laminate furniture. You don’t need a lot of soap when making your mix so it doesn’t leave a residue behind. Wash the surface with the cloth and rinse out the soap from the towel to wipe it clean.

These 5 tips for cleaning your University Loft furniture are super easy and will come in handy as you clean your furniture pieces.
