- Last revised:
- Friday, 05 December 2008
Answer
Hevea Brasiliensis is an eco-friendly, Environmentally Farmed Timber (EFT) more commonly known as Rubberwood. Its strength is comparable to American Red Oak but grows at a faster pace making it a better renewable resource. Additional to the ecological benefits, Hevea Brasiliensis is an extremely durable material and is resistant to many fungal, bacterial, and mold conditions.
