UNIVERSITY LOFT COMPANY’S – 25TH ANNIVERSARY KICK OFF CELEBRATION
was held on Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

25th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting CeremonyUniversity Loft Company (ULC) celebrates a Quarter-Century (1986 – 2011) building superb quality wood and upholstered furniture.  A ceremonial canon shot by James Jannetides, ULC Owner and CEO kicked off the planned year long 25th Anniversary Celebration with a loud bang at 12 noon on October 20th, 2010!  Many state and local government officials attending the the 25th Anniversary Kick Off Celebration spoke to the crowd in attendance and extended their congratulations to James Jannetides and ULC Employees.


State Senator Beverly Gard said, “Congratulations University Loft on 25 years of great success. We are delighted to have you here in Hancock County and hope to have you here for many more years.”

Greenfield Mayor Brad DeReamer commented, “Congratulations James, 25 years is a credit to you and all employees of University Loft.”

State Representative Bob Cherry, “We are blessed to have University Loft as a part of Hancock County.”

County Commissioner Brad Armstrong, “James embodies the entrepreneurial spirit that we like to have in Hancock County.”

Following comments from guests and dignitaries, James Jannetides cut a 25th Anniversary Ribbon in a ceremony conducted by Retta Livengood, President of the Greenfield Chamber of Commerce. James then unveiled a University Loft 25th Anniversary Logo. (See attached logo)  James Jannetides gave the blessing and lunch was served by Grant & Jeni Ford of BBQ’n Fools. After lunch James Jannetides conducted a tour of the University Loft’s 508,000 square foot facility for all state and local government officials and guests.

James Jannetides commented, “Today, University Loft is kicking off a celebration of 25 years building the finest wood and upholstered furniture. 25 years of successful business is a tribute to dedicated employees and satisfied loyal customers. I want to thank all the employees who have worked hard to make University Loft one of the finest and most highly respected furniture manufacturers in America and most importantly thank our customers who have purchased our quality furniture products over the last 25 years. We will continue to celebrate this great company's milestone throughout 2011.”
