25th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting CeremonyUniversity Loft Company (ULC) celebrates a Quarter-Century (1986 – 2011) building superb quality wood and upholstered furniture.  A ceremonial canon shot by James Jannetides, ULC Owner and CEO kicked off the planned year long 25th Anniversary Celebration with a loud bang at 12 noon on October 20th, 2010!  Many state and local government officials attending the the 25th Anniversary Kick Off Celebration spoke to the crowd in attendance and extended their congratulations to James Jannetides and ULC Employees.

Does 4 tons of pressure seems extreme? Not for our beds!

In an independent lab test, EFT tested stronger that Northern Red Oak, and the results were measured in newtons as force, in which the meter showed lb/ft to demonstrate the force needed to pull a screw from the wood.

EFT broke at 160 lbs. of pressure, while Northern Red Oak snapped at under 140 lbs. of pressure. This test serves as evidence that EFT is in fact stronger, more durable and able to withstand the rigors of everyday use without breaking down.

LOFT retail collections have been tested to meet Consumer Product Safety Commission safety standards.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, thousands of children under age 15 receive hospital emergency room treatment for injuries associated with bunk beds each year. Although most of these injuries are fairly minor, some prior cases have involved entrapped children that have resulted in suffocation or strangulation deaths.

University Loft Company Expands with a $250,000 Installation of a New Production Line Send Print

Once again University Loft Company ("ULC") is expanding its facilities with a $250,000 installation of a new production line for metal furniture products at the Greenfield, Indiana facility.

CEO James Jannetides is extremely proud to make this investment despite economic hard times. The expansion will provide an additional 30 full time jobs at the Greenfield, Indiana facility.

Compelled to keep and protect Indiana jobs, Jannetides purchased the equipment from an Indiana factory in Richmond that was closing their doors.
